Job Summary
Territory Sales Executive in Long Island City / Queens, NY responsible for bringing in new business and expanding a client base of hospital and physician customers for MDL. Target to achieve 2000 specimens per month; develop and present personalized sales presentations to physicians, laboratory staff, clinics and group practices to demonstrate MDL's PCR-based testing capabilities; build and maintain a full pipeline of prospective clients; report on pipeline and territory activities; collaborate with Regional Manager on client retention and territory development; must travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide; requirements include a bachelor's degree preferred but not required (or 2+ years sales experience), strong communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and high energy and integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required, or two years sales experience, or any similar combination of education and experience
- Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, e-mail, internet)
- Energy, motivation, enthusiasm, and integrity
- Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and detail orientation
