Job Summary

Territory Sales Executive responsible for acquiring and growing a client base of hospital and physician customers for Medical Diagnostic Laboratories (MDL) within a defined NY territory. Drive annual sales and profit objectives, exceed territory budgets, deliver personalized sales presentations to physicians, laboratory staff, clinics and group practices, and cultivate long-term client relationships. Develop and maintain a full business pipeline, report on pipeline and territory activities, collaborate with Regional Manager on client concerns and retention strategies, stay informed about competitors, educate clients on MDL’s PCR-based testing offerings, and travel as required to cover the territory. Strong candidate will have the ability to present test information, upsell services, and coordinate solutions between the laboratory and clients, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency in MS Office. Must be able to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide.

Required Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • two years sales experience
