Job Summary
Territory Sales Executive for Astoria, NY, focused on acquiring and growing hospital and physician client bases for Medical Diagnostic Laboratories. Responsible for achieving annual sales and profit objectives within a defined territory, expanding client revenues, presenting new test information, up-selling, and maintaining a full pipeline of prospective clients. Develop and deliver personalized presentations to physicians, laboratory staff, clinics, and group practices, demonstrating how MDL’s PCR-based diagnostic services support quality patient care. Build long-term client relationships through visits, maintain market knowledge of competitors, educate and train clients on laboratory solutions, and report pipeline and territory activities. Requires the ability to travel within the coverage area and occasionally nationwide; strong multitasking, organizational skills, energy, integrity, and excellent written/verbal communication are essential. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required, with two years of sales experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; proficiency in MS Office and internet tools is expected.
