Job Summary
Manage parts ordering, reconciliation, and returns with national suppliers while moving components to and from job sites. Perform basic repairs on light and medium duty vehicles to restore them to a minimal running status, then prepare vehicle records manually and digitally. Work directly with Auction Managers and District managers to verify business expectations and recommend operations improvements. Travel 50% to 75% of the time to designated auction branches, including two days per week in Macon, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills: knowledge of Excel, Word, and Email
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to read reports, weather forecasts, and set plans accordingly to maximize your time and success
- Ability to place parts orders, maintain tracking and handle refunds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (documentation, communication with peers, supervisors, etc.)
- Must have robust toolset & toolbox
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
- Ability to work outside in various extreme temperature weather conditions
- 50% to 75% travel to designated auction branches
- Ability to move and position heavy objects
Desired Qualifications
- Mobile Mechanic field experience is a plus
