Job Summary
Territory Manager for Washington territory (including AK, ID, MT, OR, WA) focused on MedTech Neurovascular products. Drive expansion of current accounts, develop new accounts, demonstrate proper surgical use of products to physicians, address questions/objections, and achieve sales quotas. Requires healthcare/medical device sales experience (3+ years preferred), ability to engage surgeons and operating-room staff, strong communication and relationship-building skills, willingness to travel up to 40%, and valid US driver’s license. Prior neurovascular or operating-room sales experience is preferred; relocation within the assigned territory and compliance with company training programs are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare or business to business sales experience is required
- A minimum of 2 years of Medical Device sales experience is preferred
- Neurovascular experience preferred
- Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room or Radiology suite environment where candidates are accustomed to working with physicians is strongly preferred
- A valid driver’s license issued in the United States
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential
- Ability to relocate and reside within the assigned Territory
- Must have and maintain knowledge of healthcare industry, medical device industry, disease states, and therapeutic and institutional trends
- Sales experience in the neurovascular space and/or the medical device field is preferred
- Must successfully complete Company training programs
- Must have valid driver’s license in the state of residence, advanced computer skills, and the ability to multitask without direct oversight of manager
- Must be willing and able to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally up to 40%
