Job Summary
Maximize Neurelis product sales in the designated territory by demonstrating thorough knowledge of products, disease states, and market competitors. Utilize approved sales aids and studies to educate and influence targeted healthcare professionals, gaining agreement for increased product use while maintaining strict compliance with all policies and the Neurelis code. Develop and maintain physician target lists through close partnership with Operations, creating business plans as required by the Regional Business Director. Execute extensive daily driving to visit physician offices, carrying samples weighing 10 to 20 pounds, with 50-80% travel required and overnight trips included. Work productively with cross-functional teams including Medical Science Liaisons and National Account Directors.
Required Qualifications
- Thorough product, disease state and market knowledge
- Sound selling skills
- Analytical ability
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of all aspects of Neurelis products, related disease states and related products in the marketplace
- Strong selling skills using approved sales aids, approved studies, reprints and superior communication and listening skills with targeted health care professionals (HCPs)
- Competent use of all facets of the Neurelis selling model
- Ability to gain agreement for increased product use from target physicians
- Strong territory management skills
- Ability to identify and call on appropriate numbers of physician targets with the required frequency
- Ability to work productively with individuals in related positions including but not limited to other representatives, Regional Business Directors, National Account Directors, Medical Science Liaisons (MSL), and headquarter personnel
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
