Job Summary
Territory Manager for medical device sales in Upstate NY responsible for educating surgeons and hospital staff on soft tissue reconstruction products, presenting clinical data to support product selection and utilization, developing territory business plans to achieve revenue goals, and driving overall customer outcomes. This role partners with marketing, customer service, and commercial leadership to advance adoption, maintains accurate CRM records, participates in regional and national training, shares market insights with colleagues, and requires frequent travel within the territory from a home office to hospitals, surgical centers, and physician offices to engage surgeons and clinical stakeholders and support decision-making with clinical data.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of medical device, biologics, or life sciences sales experience
- Experience selling into hospital environments and working with surgeons and clinical stakeholders preferred
- Background in soft tissue reconstruction, surgical implants, biologics, wound care, or related specialties is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of clinical selling and the hospital decision-making process
- Ability to communicate complex scientific and clinical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound business judgment
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate effectively with internal teams
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable background screening requirements
