Job Summary
Meet or exceed sales quota in assigned territory by clinically selling Olympus respiratory products to the pulmonary community. Represent the company in hospital operating rooms, pulmonary labs, and offices to introduce new procedures and technologies. Establish and maintain field contacts with key customers, clinicians, and researchers, including travel to customer facilities and onsite support while adhering to vendor credentialing requirements. Create new business opportunities, guide ongoing product training during procedures, and maintain knowledge of product offerings and competitor market intelligence. Attend sales meetings, training programs, and trade shows as directed. Work in partnership with the Region Vice President to develop and implement territory business plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred or equivalent combination of education and involvement
- Ability to maintain and expand existing 'run rate' business
- Ability to drive adoption of new procedures and products
- Strong knowledge of pulmonary anatomy and ability to effectively sell benefits of the Olympus products, or ability to learn and apply this information in clinical situations
- Ability to travel within territory daily. Occasional need and ability to travel outside territory within region. Overnight stays will be required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must adhere to all customer and vendor credentialing requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of external business-to-business and/or consumer sales involvement
- Sales experience in healthcare strongly preferred or a combination of Olympus sales, field-based customer support and/or marketing experience, meeting or exceeding all performance expectations
