Job Summary
Territory Manager for Nutrien UAP in Ontario responsible for attaining sales targets within the assigned territory by driving market development and selling company products with a level of service that sustains customers for life. Requires an undergraduate degree in agriculture or business marketing and 3+ years of sales/marketing experience in the agriculture industry. Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel regularly within the defined territory. Proficiency with MS Word/Excel and knowledge of plant nutrients are assets. Travel and a work-from-home office in the defined territory are expected; extended hours in peak season may be required. The role emphasizes relationship building, market development, and delivering protein-equivalent agribusiness solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in agriculture or business marketing
- 3+ years’ experience in sales and/or marketing within the Agriculture Industry
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driver's abstract are required
- Solid understanding of agribusiness, sales and crop production
- Proficiency with computers, MS Word/Excel
- Excellent knowledge of Nutritional products (plant nutrients) is a definite asset
- Completion of Certified Crop Science Program an asset
- Able to travel on a regular basis throughout assigned territory
- Work from home office within defined territory
- Ability to work extended hours in busy season
