Job Summary
Territory Manager responsible for owning and nurturing customer relationships in a team-based selling model within the foodservice sector. Educate customers on ordering platforms, provide menu consultations, product recommendations and pricing strategies to help customers succeed. Drive sales by selling to existing customers, increasing case growth, and acquiring new business through impactful sales presentations, tailored approaches, and effective territory management. Collaborate with Specialists, marketing, supply chain and customer service to ensure seamless product delivery. Develop new business using market intelligence, leads from existing clients, memberships in organizations, and trade shows. Manage deliveries to the routing schedule, troubleshoot order issues, and maintain strong customer satisfaction. Travel within the assigned territory (Minot and surrounding area, ND) to conduct site visits and follow-ups. Strong emphasis on relationship-building, customer service, and achieving sales goals with a team-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- valid driver’s license with good motor vehicle record
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- ability to build relationships and cold call to develop new business
- team-based selling environment
