Job Summary
Territory Manager / District Executive for the Greater St. Louis Area Council’s scouting program. Manages a designated territory within Missouri, driving sales, marketing, fundraising, and community outreach to support youth programs. Responsibilities include building relationships with volunteers and community leaders, delivering excellent customer service, coordinating events, budgeting, public speaking, and promoting scouting initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree, US work authorization, valid driver’s license, willingness to work varied hours including evenings/weekends, and the ability to travel within the service area. Base salary is $44,000 with a $10,000 performance incentive available; benefits include medical/dental/vision, life, disability, retirement plan, PTO, tuition assistance, and Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligibility. Training and development opportunities provided; prior scouting background not required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's (Required)
- US work authorization (Required)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Attained 21 years of age or older
- The ability to work varied hours when necessary, evening activities and weekend work is frequently required
- Must currently live, or be willing to relocate to, the boundaries of the service area
- Ability to travel for training at least once a year for one to two weeks
- Ability to lift 20 pounds regularly
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- People-oriented, having the ability to work well with adult volunteers, community and business leaders, and representatives of other organizations
- Non-profit, fundraising, sales, or marketing experience is a plus
