Job Summary
Territory Manager in Knoxville, TN for Tandem Diabetes Care. The role partners with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to grow a diabetes-care territory by meeting or exceeding sales goals, developing strategic territory plans, identifying and opening doors with healthcare professionals (MDs, DOs, RNs, CDEs, RPhs), delivering product education for providers and patients, and maintaining CRM records. Key duties include delivering education on Tandem Mobi and t:slim X2 insulin pump therapies, leveraging sales methodologies (Challenger Selling Model, Strategic Account Management), representing Tandem at events, and ensuring HIPAA/regulatory compliance. Requires travel up to 80%, strong communication and relationship-building abilities, and a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience). Compensation includes base salary with potential earnings, plus benefits; sponsorship is not available.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of industry sales experience (diabetes, endocrinology, insulin infusion pumps, or managed care preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 80% within territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
