Job Summary
Territory Manager III in Abbott Neuromodulation (Houston, TX) leads the regional sales strategy within an assigned territory to grow referrals and profitability. The role involves integrating into accounts, building trust with physicians, support staff, and KOLs; driving capital equipment opportunities; training and mentoring Territory Managers; analyzing sales statistics; ensuring regulatory compliance with FDA requirements; coordinating implanting schedules with Clinical Specialists; managing consigned inventory; and traveling up to 25% to engage customers and clinics while communicating effectively at multiple levels. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of medical devices sales experience, 4+ years in Neuromodulation, strong presentation and relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 8+ years of sales experience in medical devices
- 4+ years of work experience in Neuromodulation
- Ability and willingness to travel within assigned area on a regular basis
- Capable and willing to work an unpredictable schedule
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Capable of managing multiple projects
- Travel: 25% of the time
