Job Summary
Territory Manager I in Roanoke, VA leads a defined sales territory to achieve sales goals while delivering excellent customer service. The role manages existing accounts, identifies growth opportunities, and develops market share through building strong relationships. Responsibilities include managing a consistent call cycle, presenting new products/programs, updating merchandising to Hillman standards, generating sales proposals and plan-o-grams, coordinating pricing and special orders, communicating market trends to management, maintaining a monthly planner, and collaborating with customers, sales management, and stakeholders. Essential skills include effective communication, authenticity in leadership, self-motivation, curiosity for learning, proficiency with MS Office and sales software, and willingness to travel daily (up to ~200 miles) in a sales/service environment. Educational requirement is a college degree or equivalent work experience.
