Job Summary
Territory Manager to drive new business development and utilization growth across a defined Houston territory for a venture-backed medical device company. The role entails identifying new opportunities across physician practices, hospitals, IDNs, and academic medical centers; building and executing strategic territory plans to penetrate the market; educating physicians, administrators, and clinical staff on the clinical and operational value of the technology; driving physician adoption through ongoing training and account development; partnering with healthcare providers to implement successful clinical programs; maintaining high customer engagement throughout the sales process and post-sale implementation; collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing market feedback to support commercialization efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Proven success in medical device, diagnostics, healthcare technology, or capital equipment sales preferred
- Experience calling on gastroenterology stakeholders and physicians
- Track record launching new products or technologies and driving utilization
- Ability to develop and execute strategic territory plans
- Strong hunting mentality and ability to build new business from the ground up
- Independent workstyle in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
