Territory Manager - Houston/Austin

Job Summary
Conduct regular meetings and sales calls with broker partners to execute defined plans, measure progress, and achieve established KPIs. Identify, appoint, and onboard new brokers while implementing strategies to increase production and write profitable business. Proactively manage underperforming brokers and build relationships with centers of influence such as family offices and wealth management firms. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and oversee the execution of the region's growth and profit plan. Frequent and occasional overnight travel within the assigned Houston/Austin territory are required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of personal lines property and casualty insurance experience in sales, marketing, or underwriting
- Frequent travel within assigned territory
- Overnight travel may be required
- Comfort level calling on wealth advisors and other centers of influence
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Agile learner who can quickly absorb information and apply it to current business situations
- Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, and inspire others
- Demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility
- Extraordinary at multi-tasking
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to quickly establish trust and credibility
- Consistently exhibit team spirit and enthusiasm
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients preferred
