Job Summary
Territory Manager responsible for developing and managing established and new customer relationships by selling food and non-food items within the High Desert region (including Victorville, Hesperia, and surrounding areas). Duties include owning customer relationships, driving value-added activities, coordinating deliveries, collecting balances per approved credit terms, identifying prospects, leveraging market intelligence and trade events, and collaborating with internal/external stakeholders in a field-based sales role. Must be able to drive to customers, lift up to 75 lbs, and operate in an outside/field environment. Education: HS diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license required
- 1+ year of sales experience preferred
- Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business
- Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce) preferred
