Job Summary
Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan for tirabrutinib, building relationships with hematology/oncology stakeholders to drive disease education and launch readiness. Communicate the clinical profile of the BTK inhibitor, present pivotal trial data, and address clinical barriers impacting treatment adoption in the NYC Metro and Long Island region. Synthesize market insights to identify access barriers, refine account action plans, and collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to ensure seamless provider and patient engagement. Utilize CRM tools to track trends while maintaining strict compliance and ethical standards throughout field activities.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline
- 8+ year pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in malignant hematology
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed
- Must reside within the assigned territory
- Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex clinical information and pivotal data in a clear, credible, and impactful manner with a range of oncology stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with key customers, treatment centers, and account stakeholders in complex specialty markets
- Strong understanding of the sales process, including patient identification, clinical conviction, access and reimbursement considerations, and distribution dynamics
- Strong business acumen and ability to use data, analytics, and market insights to inform account planning and territory execution
- Experience working cross-functionally with partners such as Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, and Training to support business objectives and field effectiveness
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs, apply market insights, and execute effectively in complex or competitive environments
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and influence without authority
- Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving launch environment
- Must consistently act with high ethical standards and maintain a strong commitment to compliance
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Experience in rare disease, and/or oral oncolytic markets
- Residing within approximately 50 miles of the primary business hub or area where the majority of customer activity is concentrated
- Launch experience in specialty, oncology, hematology, or other complex markets
