Job Summary

Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan for Northern California, building strong relationships with hematology/oncology healthcare professionals to support the launch of tirabrutinib. Communicate the clinical profile of this BTK inhibitor, present pivotal trial data, and address barriers to treatment adoption for patients with relapsed or refractory primary central nervous system lymphoma. Identify opportunities and access barriers, synthesize market insights, and collaborate with Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to ensure seamless execution. Provide field feedback, utilize CRM tools for planning, and maintain compliance while covering the assigned geography near San Francisco and Sacramento.

Required Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline
  • 8+ year pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in malignant hematology
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed
  • Must reside within the assigned territory
  • Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex clinical information and pivotal data in a clear, credible, and impactful manner with a range of oncology stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with key customers, treatment centers, and account stakeholders in complex specialty markets
  • Strong understanding of the sales process, including patient identification, clinical conviction, access and reimbursement considerations, and distribution dynamics
  • Strong business acumen and ability to use data, analytics, and market insights to inform account planning and territory execution
  • Experience working cross-functionally with partners such as Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Sales Operations, and Training to support business objectives and field effectiveness
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs, apply market insights, and execute effectively in complex or competitive environments
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and influence without authority
  • Ability to adapt to change, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving launch environment
  • Must consistently act with high ethical standards and maintain a strong commitment to compliance

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree
  • Experience in rare disease, and/or oral oncolytic markets
  • Residing within approximately 50 miles of the primary business hub or area where the majority of customer activity is concentrated
  • Launch experience in specialty, oncology, hematology, or other complex markets
