Job Summary

Lead the sales process in the territory by opening new implanting centers and growing business at existing centers within the designated territory. Collaborate with hospital clinical and administrative teams, assist with implants and follow-up visits, manage area budgets, and establish long-term customer relationships. Responsible for acquiring new customers, recruiting Study-Center Registry and HF sites, providing implantation support and training to new employees, developing screening programs in hospitals and outpatient practices, and planning/reporting customer visits. Drive outreach to ICD-patient self-help groups, expand business within the territory, and coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure successful implantations and post-visit support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree or equivalent required
  • 10 years of experience in the cardiac device industry required
  • Proven ability to develop new business and maintain strong business relationships
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills; working knowledge of financial aspects of structuring an agreement
  • Ability to provide technical support to implantation and follow-up visits
  • Ability to effectively communicate with personnel inside/outside the U.S. in English
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple assignments effectively
