Job Summary
Manage and grow an established territory by strengthening relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities. Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and identify opportunities for growth through strategic account planning. Conduct customer visits, evaluate needs, and deliver consultative sales presentations tailored to each customer's business. Expand business within existing accounts by identifying new products, services, and safety solutions. Stay informed on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging products to provide valuable insights to customers. Prepare quotes, submit orders, and ensure timely follow-up throughout the sales process. Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Maintain accurate sales activity and territory reporting. Support and collaborate with Onsite Associates serving customers within your territory.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of outside sales or account management experience
- Industrial distribution and/or safety industry experience
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to manage priorities and achieve sales goals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, and other business software
- Valid Driver's License
- Safety and/or industrial distribution knowledge
- Strong interpersonal communication skills across a variety of platforms
- Self-starter spirit and proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals
- Intermediate to Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, CRMs, and other company software platforms
- 1-3 years of sales experience
