Job Summary

Cultivate business partnerships with key decision makers and drive market share growth by selling and servicing Coloplast's Continence Care product portfolio. Develop and execute clear plans to achieve territory sales objectives, utilizing consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategies and present value propositions with financial and clinical impact. Manage daily call routines to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts while leveraging tools like GPO and IDN contracts to maximize sales growth. Maintain long-term relationships within the current customer base and build productive cross-functional ties to leverage organizational synergies. This role requires 25% to 50% travel, including overnight trips, and a valid driver's license. Candidates must meet healthcare customer credentialing requirements for facility access.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of med tech sales experience
  • 2-year associate degree
  • 5+ years of med tech sales experience
  • 7+ years of med tech sales experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including overnight -- 25% - 50%
  • Strong Interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • High attention for detail and follow through
  • Exceptional listening skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate effective time and territory management skills
  • Administrative capabilities
  • Effective written and oral communication capabilities
  • Clear understanding of clinical and technical product knowledge
  • Strong understanding of competitive activity and products
  • Knowledge of current market trends and industry information
  • Ability to attend industry related meetings/events for business development opportunities i.e. UOA meetings, trade shows, WOCN meetings
  • Ability to organize and manage information utilizing CRM tool as directed
  • Ability to maintain current records and administrative duties, including sales reporting and expense management
  • Ability to effectively engage all targeted accounts
  • Ability to develop and execute a clear and logical plan to achieve overall territory sales objectives
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies to maximize territory and company objectives
  • Ability to analyze key sales and marketing data to determine the most leverageable opportunities in the territory
  • Ability to understand customer's environment, including who the clinical, financial and other key decision makers are
  • Ability to understand their key issues/concerns, including challenges and opportunities for Coloplast
  • Ability to ensure timely advancement of the sale process with all targeted accounts achieving/exceeding the annual minimum required contract commitments
  • Ability to understand Financial Business Models
  • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis
  • Ability to demonstrate consultative selling skills to uncover customer strategy
  • Ability to present value proposition including financial and clinical impact
  • Ability to plan daily call routine to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts
  • Ability to utilize all available tools to maximize sales growth including, but not limited to GPO and IDN contracts, marketing directives, sales reports and educational materials
  • Ability to be knowledgeable of competitive activity and sales volume in each targeted account
  • Ability to retain and grow business within current customer base by identifying opportunities and help formulate sales strategies
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships that lead to increasing use of products within target accounts
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive cross-functional relationships to share knowledge and leverage synergies within the organization
  • Ability to meet healthcare customers in person at their facilities or healthcare systems
  • Ability to complete credentialing requirements that meet the access requirements of each healthcare facility or system
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Advamed Code of Ethics on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals, and company policies

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is highly preferred with 3+ years of med tech sales experience
