Job Summary
Territory Manager/Clinical Specialist responsible for achieving sales quota through profiling, targeting, needs analysis, and closing on targeted account customers including health care professionals (Endocrinologists, CDEs), key diabetes institutions, and managed care organizations. Develops and maintains relationships with diabetes decision-makers to drive sales and market share within private practices, large diabetes clinics, hospital teaching institutions, and other major medical centers. Will call on customers to raise awareness and demand for Insulet products, train on product and related data management software, and coordinate with operations, quality, and customer service teams. Position requires regular travel within the defined geographic territory (Perth, WA) and residence within the area; maintains a high profile with professional diabetes organizations and adheres to promotional guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- minimum of 5 years' sales experience
- experience in medical device and/or diabetes is preferred
- strong communication and presentation skills
- ability to execute sales and marketing plans
- valid driver’s license and residence within geographic area of Perth, WA
- willingness to travel within territory (2–5 overnights/month)
