Job Summary
Territory Manager for a startup medical device company responsible for driving new business, account acquisition, program implementation, and utilization growth across a defined territory. Responsibilities include identifying and closing opportunities within physician practices, hospitals, IDNs, and academic medical centers; building strategic territory plans; educating physicians and staff on clinical value; driving physician adoption through training and ongoing account development; collaborating with cross-functional teams; maintaining high customer engagement through the sales process and post-sale implementation; and providing market feedback to support commercialization. Ideal candidates have medical device or diagnostics sales experience, familiarity with gastroenterology stakeholders, a proven track record in launching new products and growing utilization, program development experience, and the ability to operate autonomously in an entrepreneurial environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience introducing new medical technologies
- Sales experience in medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare technology
- Experience calling on gastroenterologists and related healthcare stakeholders
- Program development and physician adoption experience
- Strong hunting mentality with ability to build new business from the ground up
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills
