TERRITORY MANAGER

Job Summary
Territory Manager responsible for the rental and sale of new and used machines, allied equipment, and dealer services within the assigned territory and customer base. The role requires prior outside sales experience, a Bachelor's degree is preferred, and English/Spanish bilingual proficiency is desired. Travel is frequent (overnight or out of town). Candidate will develop objectives, set priorities, and implement ideas; maintain strong internal and external relationships; prospect new customers; negotiate and close deals; interpret data to make quick decisions; and uphold Carter’s core values. The position offers base pay plus commissions with a probable income over $100,000 and includes competitive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Outside sales experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Marketing, Communications or related field)
- English/Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
- Must be able to travel frequently (overnight or out of town)
- Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Must be able to develop and execute action plans and handle customer situations to produce results
- Must possess ability to communicate using telephone and computer
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required
- Base plus commissions with potential income over $100,000
