Job Summary
Conduct daily sales calls and presentations to prospective and existing customers within an assigned geographical area. Develop regular sales schedules, maintain effective vendor interactions, and lead product demonstrations with customers and factory representatives. Build strong customer relationships by providing technical training, assisting with color verification, and investigating complaints per Quality Management System policies. Execute territory sales and marketing strategies to develop action plans that meet and exceed targeted revenue and profitability goals. Prepare sales reports, quotations, and forecasts while managing expenses within budget. Operate a company vehicle in accordance with all traffic laws and maintain an acceptable driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Territory Manager
- BSc/BA in Business, Marketing or a related field
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue
- field sales experience
- Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs
- Proficient in MS Office
- Excellent sales and communication skills
- Organizational and leadership ability
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work all scheduled hours as needed
- Employee must be licensed to operate vehicle in accordance with state, federal, and provincial law
- Must have acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO
- Ability to lift and carry approximately 25 – 50 lbs. frequently and 75 – 100 lbs. on occasion
- Ability to perceive color differences
- Must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors
- Must be able to physically demonstrate paint and associated products by utilizing various product delivery systems such as spray guns and other related equipment
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with Salesforce
- Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue; field sales experience is preferred
