Territory Manager - Atlanta/West, GA - Med Device Sales

Job Summary
Educate physicians and hospital staff on OviTex product benefits, appropriate technique, and placement while communicating complex clinical data to guide product selection based on patient co-morbidities and wound classifications. Develop business plans to meet short-term revenue objectives and optimize long-term opportunities within the assigned geographic territory. Maintain the company's CRM database with current hospital and surgeon information and collaborate with the commercial team to replicate best practices across the organization. Travel up to 50% of the time to meet ongoing business needs, including attending surgical procedures and regional commercial meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in the life science industry
- Experience in hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction or plastic/soft tissue reconstruction
- Experience handling biologic tissue-based materials
- Extensive knowledge of both clinical needs of physicians and mechanisms of action of host response to biologic implants
- Ability to identify new market opportunities for biologic constructs based on unmet needs of general and reconstructive surgeons
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize work appropriately with a focus on timelines and deliverables
- Strong communication (written, oral and interpersonal) and presentation skills
- demonstrated experience presenting to diverse audiences including, but not limited to, employees, physicians and key opinion leaders
- Excellent judgment and decision-making capabilities

- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to carry and lift product inventory of up to 20 lbs
- Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours
- Ability to attend surgical procedures of up to a minimum of 4 hours
- Must have demonstrated ability to multi-task in high-pressure, changing conditions
- Must be located within the desired territory
- Travel up 50% to meet the ongoing needs of the business
