Job Summary
Territory Manager, A+D Development in Southern California leads strategic relationship-building with architects and designers, promoting Global Furniture Group’s product lines (Global Office, Global Care, Evolve) through presentations, live demos, showroom tours, events, and project consultations. Responsibilities include sustaining relationships with architects/design firms and influencers, developing a plan to increase product specifications and brand visibility within the A+D community, educating professionals on product offerings and differentiators, tracking opportunities in CRM, collaborating with sales/dealer teams, and representing Global at industry trade shows and associations. The role requires frequent travel in the field (more than 50%), a mix of office, remote, showroom, and client-facing settings, and ongoing market/industry trend knowledge. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; 3-5 years of outside sales experience; strong business acumen, negotiation and communication skills; ability to travel within the territory; CRM experience preferred; MS Office proficiency. Compensation includes base pay with performance-based commissions; company notes travel and showrooms as part of typical duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years outside sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to analyze territory potential, identify growth opportunities, and execute sales strategies
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within territory; occasional overnight travel as required
- CRM experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
