Job Summary
Territory Manager in A&D development drives design specifications and demand for Global Furniture Group products by building and sustaining relationships with architects and designers, influencers, and design firms within the assigned Seattle area. Responsibilities include promoting product solutions through presentations, live demos, showroom tours, events, and project consultations; delivering product education to A+D professionals; tracking opportunities via CRM; collaborating with marketing/product teams on launches; and maintaining knowledge of industry trends. Requires frequent in-person client engagement, travel within the territory, and ability to navigate both office/showroom environments and client sites. Education/experience emphasis on a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years outside sales experience, with strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills; ability to analyze territory potential and plan activities; and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Minimum 3-5 years outside sales experience, preferably in dealer or distribution sales, furniture, building materials, or related industries
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel within territory (frequent travel, more than 50% in the field) and sit/drive for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within territory; occasional overnight travel as required
- CRM experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
