Job Summary
Territory Manager responsible for planning, directing and coordinating sales activities within a defined geographical area, maintaining an active and visible role with hospital customers (including National Accounts, Hospital Chains, Wholesalers, Endocrinologists and Diabetologists, HCPs and retailers) to grow sales, profits and market share. Works with Area Managers to promote sales and implement marketing programs, conducts nurses training in hospitals to raise product awareness and market share, builds relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals and with stockists, trains CSR personnel at distribution centers, prospecting for new hospital/HCP customers, monitors orders and distribution, supports customers with sales/service and availability of products, provides inputs for forecasting and promotions, promotes new products, ensures administrative paperwork, and travels extensively to achieve territory goals. Travel is frequent and essential; the role interfaces with Field Sales, Marketing and customer base, and emphasizes independent work, critical decision-making, and effective communication.
