Territory Account Specialist

Job Summary

Achieve territory sales, margin, and profitability targets across gearbox repairs, spare parts, new gear units, and drivetrains in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Southern Brazil. Manage, coach, and develop the existing network of regional representatives while recruiting new dealers. Conduct proactive account management and field visits to identify opportunities and convert specifications into profitable sales. Lead joint sales calls, support closing large orders, and act as the primary escalated resource for technical and commercial inquiries. Prepare accurate forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory financials to monitor performance and implement corrective actions. Provide product and sales training to representatives, coordinate cross-functional resources for timely delivery, and represent the brand at customer meetings and industry forums. Operate with high autonomy while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, manufacturing or related field
  • Minimum 15 years of industrial sales experience
  • Substantial experience in power transmission, gearboxes, or related drivetrain products/services
  • Proven track record of territory management
  • Proven track record of distributor/dealer channel leadership
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales and profitability targets
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • General industrial knowledge
  • Ability to discuss technical specifications with engineering and maintenance teams
  • Previous management or leadership experience with remote teams or representative networks
  • Strong computer proficiency (MS365/Microsoft Office)
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally (~60%)
  • Residence in the Southern Cone region (Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, southern Brazil)
  • Fluency in English, Spanish and Portuguese

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, manufacturing or related field preferred
  • Previous management or leadership experience with remote teams or representative networks preferred
  • Familiarity with condition monitoring, reliability services, or aftermarket programs
  • Existing relationships with distributors, OEMs, or large end-users in mining, agricultural, or heavy industries in the Southern Cone
