Job Summary
Territory Account Manager at EquipmentShare in the rental equipment sector; responsible for expanding the existing customer base among contractors and construction company principals within a defined geographical territory. Manages full sales strategy from market analysis, pipeline management, and revenue growth to contract negotiation and customer retention. Responds to inbound leads, utilizes CRM systems, develops new business, maintains relationships for 100 percent satisfaction, delivers on-site and remote support, conducts sales presentations, and develops strategies to increase market share. Requires heavy equipment knowledge, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, a results-driven, self-motivated mindset, and ability to manage strategic and national accounts. Includes perks such as a company vehicle or allowance, benefits, and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- First and foremost, we’re looking for someone who’s tenacious and innovative and possesses superior outside sales experience and skills with a proven sales track record
- Must be able to lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Heavy Construction Equipment or Industry knowledge (rental or construction) with experience in B2B is sales preferred, but not required (if you’re a born salesperson, we’ll train you on what you need to know and how to win more business)
- You have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- You have the technical aptitude to adapt to the fast pace of a growing company and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services
- You’re competitive, self-motivated and results driven, but thrive in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to manage strategic and national accounts
- Location preference to operate within West TX or Waco area with hybrid work potential
- Employment is contingent on passing a background check and some roles may require a drug test
