Job Summary
Territory Account Manager to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction across a defined Boston/Cambridge territory in Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. The role focuses on promoting a broad portfolio of life science products and solutions (consumables, centrifugation, laboratory automation, genomics chemistries, and research flow cytometry) and lead generation for instrumentation. The TAM acts as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders in academia, biotech, pharma, and research organizations, leading cross-product line lead generation and strategic account growth, and coordinating with product specialists, application scientists, customer service, and distributors. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategic account plans for key customers, building multi-level relationships with procurement, lab managers, and principal investigators, leading quarterly business reviews, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Required skills include proven B2B life sciences sales ability, prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers, strong time and territory management, effective communication, and adaptability to a remote-work arrangement. The role offers a remote-work option, a salary range of $100,000–$115,000 with potential Sales Incentive Compensation, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2+ years’ experience in Life Sciences and/or Academic/Government sales or other business to business sales
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers)
- Team player with interpersonal skills
- Experience with Funnel Management, Forecast Accuracy, Data Analysis
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM/SFDC preferred
- Willingness to travel within defined Boston/Cambridge territory; occasional overnight travel possibly required
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to travel locally and perform in a field-based role
