Job Summary
Territory Account Executive in Thousand Oaks leading in-person field execution to build pipeline from the ground up, develop local seller relationships, and close deals across Square’s product suite. You will spend most weeks in the market conducting live demos, visiting 50–60 targeted businesses, and leveraging a full-cycle, self-sourced sales motion. Develop deep vertical expertise in restaurants, retail, and services; establish partnerships, drive referrals, and orchestrate a fast time-to-value onboarding for new sellers. Maintain pipeline and forecast in Salesforce, exceed quota, and operate with high accountability in a dynamic market.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of sales experience in a full cycle closing role with field sales experience
- Experience exceeding sales targets
- Selling a diverse ecosystem of products and closing complex deals
- Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment
- Business development experience (e.g. hunting and cold calling)
- Reliable transportation and live in the market you are serving
- Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent
