Job Summary
Territory Account Executive responsible for proactive new-business development and expanding customer relationships within an assigned geographic area or industry segment, while managing and growing existing accounts. Expected to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets ($500K–$1M) and participate in pipeline generation, standardized sales processes, and collaboration with solution teams. Must communicate value propositions to multiple stakeholders, coordinate with architects and technical leads during sales cycles, maintain CRM-based forecasts, and travel extensively to customer locations. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years of solution-based and technology sales experience in a territory, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a hunter/customer-focused mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- 2+ years of solution-based sales experience
- Outside sales experience working directly with end-user customers
- 2+ years successful technology sales experience within a territory-based assignment
- Understanding of core technology solutions and services
- Ability to learn and apply structured sales methodologies and CRM platforms
- Proven success in a new-business acquisition (“hunter”) sales role
- Demonstrated motivation, resilience, and self-direction
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a changing environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel extensively to customer locations, meetings, and training (up to 100%)
