Job Summary
Territory Account Executive responsible for generating new customer relationships and growing existing accounts within a defined Kansas City geography/vertical. Responsibilities include hunting for new business, maintaining and expanding relationships, meeting annual quota typically between $500K-$1M, and applying MEDDICC-based sales processes, Salesforce CRM, and Force Management methodologies. Develops understanding of target accounts, key decision makers (including C-level), and collaborates with Solution Architects and Offering Leaders to tailor and present solutions. Requires strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills, with a focus on proactive demand generation, account planning, and cross-functional coordination to drive territory growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of solution-based selling in technology or related projects
- Outside sales experience with direct end-user accounts
- 2+ years proven success in selling technology or related projects in a territory-based assignment
- Understanding of key technology solutions
- Working knowledge of core selling models and tools (SalesForce) and MEDDICC selling methodology
- Demonstrated experience as a Selling Hunter achieving quota or growth targets
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant work experience
