Job Summary
Oversee the safety, design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the Terrain Parks and Fun Slopes at Yellowstone Club. Collaborate with equipment and grooming operators to plan and develop features like rails, jumps, and boxes, ensuring they meet safety standards and suit different skill levels. Supervise Terrain Park Attendants, monitor snow conditions, and adjust park features or make closure decisions based on weather and quality. Maintain daily log sheets, update maps, and perform maintenance including welding, grinding, and woodworking. Address guest concerns, ensure outstanding service standards, and communicate with departments including Patrol, Snowmaking, and Grooming to maintain efficient park operations.
Required Qualifications
- Professional-level experience working in mountain operations
- Strong familiarity with terrain parks
- Experience with grooming equipment and machinery
- Valid State Driver's License
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments
- Able to write clearly and legibly
- Able to perform basic math calculations
- Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving
- Intermediate level of skiing or snowboarding
- Able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Visual acuity to perform an activity such as visually watching guests, inspecting equipment and doing maintenance, watching for hazards and safety violations, and maintaining a clean, clear platform
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions including but not limited to extreme cold, rain, wind, snow, sun, or inclement weather
- Able to drive in similar harsh conditions
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisor-level experience in mountain operations
- Training in terrain park design, building, and maintenance
- Several years of experience with grooming and snow equipment and machinery
- Experience in welding and grinding on metal features
- Experience with wood working tools
