Job Summary
Conduct nightly maintenance of the terrain park using snow-cats, including prestart inspections, shut-down procedures, and general machine upkeep like changing lights and tires. Execute specific grooming tasks such as back-blading takeoffs, filling ruts, refreshing landings, and maintaining a parallel pattern while identifying and reporting feature damage or fuel leaks. Assist the supervisor with terrain park builds, events, and clearing snow accumulation from lift terminals and building entrances. Adhere to all Pisten Bully manuals, Park Grooming Manuals, and Corporate policies while reporting incidents, near misses, and documentation requirements immediately to your shift supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years' cat operations experience
- 1 year Terrain Park building experience
- Trail grooming experience
- Must have strong skiing or snowboarding skills
- knowledge of freestyle skiing/riding
- Clean and valid driver's license
- Previous mountain operation and/or heavy equipment operation experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Employees must always be of sound mind

- ability to sit and concentrate for long periods of time
- good level of physical fitness
- ability to work independently
- Must be able to hike and move around easily in a remote, alpine environment
- Snowmobile and vehicle operation for work requires completion of a training program and competency assessments
