Job Summary

Identify customer termite problems and perform treatment services safely according to company guidelines and label instructions. Apply anti-termite treatments to structures, verify job specifications, and complete production forms documenting services provided. Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment while communicating critical conditions and structural modifications to customers. Prepare job sites, enter structures and crawl spaces, and climb ladders or work on roofs, requiring tolerance for seasonal weather, damp locations, and confined spaces. Wear personal protective equipment including OSHA-compliant respirators. Work Monday through Saturday as needed with base pay ranging from $17.00 to $23.00 hourly.

Required Qualifications

  • Clean shaven face
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence
  • At least 1 years of customer service experience
  • Experience in termite control
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Flexibility with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
  • Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
  • Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Tolerance for a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
  • Ability to work 20 feet up on a ladder
  • Ability to work in small confined spaces
  • Ability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces
  • Ability to climb over and on top of structures
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
  • Ability to regularly sit, climb, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
  • Ability to regularly work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
  • Ability to tolerate working on roofs and high areas
  • Ability to prepare the job site for treatment
  • Ability to identify customer's termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits
  • Ability to perform termite treatment services safely and according to company guidelines and standard practices
  • Ability to apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
  • Ability to communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity
  • Ability to discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
  • Ability to verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
  • Ability to operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to complete production forms documenting services provided
  • Ability to interact with customers and explain services provided
  • Ability to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws related to the employment of qualified individuals with disabilities
  • Agreement to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc., possibly including Workday, Loop, and HireVue
