Termite Technician

Job Summary
Identify customer termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behaviors and habits. Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines, applying anti-termite treatments to structures per schedule and label instructions. Verify job specifications for each work order, communicate critical conditions to customers, and discuss supplemental structural modifications. Operate and maintain service vehicles, complete production forms documenting services, and interact with customers to explain procedures. Prepare job sites, enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, and climb ladders and scaffolding while tolerating various environmental conditions. Wear personal protective equipment including OSHA-compliant respirators and work in confined spaces. Maintain a clean-shaven face for safety and possess a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence
- Clean shaven face
- Ability to work on a roofs and high areas
- Ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
- Ability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces
- Ability to climb over and on top of structures
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
- Comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder
- Comfortable working in small confined spaces
- Ability to regularly work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Ability to regularly sit, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Must be flexible with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1 years of customer service, experience in termite control is a plus
- General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter and attic experience is plus
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
