Termite Technician

Job Summary
Identify customer termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behaviors and habits. Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines, applying anti-termite treatments to structures as scheduled. Communicate critical conditions conducive to termite activity and discuss necessary structural modifications with clients. Verify job specifications for each work order while operating and maintaining service vehicles and equipment. Complete production forms documenting services provided and interact with customers to explain procedures. Prepare job sites, enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, and climb ladders and scaffolding. Tolerate seasonal weather, damp, and dusty locations while wearing OSHA-compliant personal protective equipment. Work Monday through Saturday as needed, maintaining a clean-shaven face and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Clean shaven face
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license/clean driving record
- At least 1 years of customer service experience
- Experience in termite control
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Flexibility with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
- Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
- Ability to work on a roofs and high areas
- Ability to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
- Ability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces
- Ability to climb over and on top of structures
- Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
- Comfort working 20 feet up on a ladder
- Ability to work in small confined spaces
- Ability to regularly sit, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Ability to be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Must pass pre-employment background screen
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
