Job Summary

Identify termite problems and determine remedial steps by applying knowledge of termite behaviors and habits. Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines, including applying anti-termite treatments to structures and communicating critical conditions to customers. Verify job specifications for each work order, operate service vehicles, and complete production forms documenting provided services. Prepare job sites, enter structures and crawl spaces, and climb ladders or work on roofs while wearing required PPE. Work Monday through Saturday, with hours ranging from $16.90 to $21.00 hourly.

Required Qualifications

  • Clean shaven face
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence
  • At least 1 years of customer service experience
  • Experience in termite control
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
  • Flexibility with working hours, Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations
  • Basic math skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to follow instructions for mixing on product labels
  • Tolerance for a variety of environmental conditions, including seasonal weather, damp and/or dusty locations
  • Ability to prepare the job site for treatment
  • Ability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces
  • Ability to climb over and on top of structures
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs and ladders
  • Comfort working 20 feet up on a ladder
  • Comfort working in small confined spaces
  • Ability to regularly work in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
  • Ability to regularly sit, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, up and down stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), like an OSHA-compliant respirator
  • Ability to safely operate a vehicle on the public streets
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and disputes in a non-violent and non-disruptive manner
  • Ability to make financial quotes and commitments on behalf of the company
  • Ability to use, handle, and have access to regulated chemicals
  • Ability to safely apply anti-termite treatments to structures according to schedule, safety procedures and label instructions
  • Ability to identify customer's termite problems and have knowledge of termite behaviors and habits to determine remedial steps
  • Ability to communicate to the customer critical conditions that are conducive to termite activity
  • Ability to discuss procedures and structural modifications, which may be supplemental to treatment process
  • Ability to verify that job specifications are appropriate for each work order
  • Ability to operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to complete production forms documenting services provided
  • Ability to interact with customers and explain services provided
  • Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with customers
  • Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
  • Must be able to comply with all Federal, State, and local laws related to the employment of qualified individuals with disabilities
  • Must be able to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
  • Must be able to set communication preferences or opt out of text messages from each system at any time following the initial message

  • Must be able to work within customer's residences, property, and places of business often unsupervised

  • Must be able to offer insulation services, wildlife control and many specialized services to help protect your home
  • Must be able to be up for the challenge
