Terminal Truck Coordinator

Job Summary
Greet and assist truck drivers arriving at the terminal for loading or unloading, then receive and process their orders into the computer system. Compile necessary documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets and certificates of analysis, while coordinating with terminal operators to fulfill orders and ensure correct product loading. Monitor the loading process for efficiency and compliance, answer driver inquiries regarding orders or procedures, and provide assistance with paperwork and invoices. Communicate with drivers about tank truck levels and shipment information, and provide back-up or relief for other positions as needed. Maintain confidentiality and comply with all regulatory health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience as an administrative assistant
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- working knowledge of office equipment (switchboard, facsimile, mail meter, etc.)
- Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, manuals, reports, and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with customers and co-workers
- ability to write correspondence and instructions, using exemplary grammatical and spelling skills
- Ability to interact with others in a professional and appropriate demeanor
- work effectively with a diverse group of individuals
