Job Summary
The Terminal Operator/Tractor Driver is responsible for the safe operation of barge uncovering and covering units, ensuring the correct unloading process and the functionality of winching systems. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively with other operators and recognize various grain and grain by-product conditions. Physical demands include lifting a minimum of 50 lbs, climbing, and working in dusty and inclement conditions. A valid driver's license and TWIC card are required, along with experience in a marine terminal barge unloading operation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain TWIC card
- 1 to 2 years in a marine terminal barge unloading operation required
Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years actual cover handling experience
