Job Summary
Terminal Operator responsible for safe movement, receipt, and shipment of petroleum products via pipelines, rail, tanker trucks, and storage tanks. Performs meter calibration, tank gauging, qualitative/quantitative product quality testing, equipment maintenance, and inspections. Complies with safety, health, security, and environmental standards; interfaces with government agencies; supervises loading/unloading of drivers; conducts regular inspections and housekeeping; and contributes to maintenance of metering devices, pumps, valves, and related equipment. Requires fuel-handling discipline, TWIC credentials, ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and willingness to work a rotating schedule in a 24/7 terminal environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- TWIC card or ability to obtain TWIC
- Ability to operate forklift
- Willing to work outside in inclement weather
- Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, holidays, nights, weekends
- Reside within 60 minutes of the site or willing to relocate within 60 minutes of the site without relocation assistance
