Job Summary
Oversee preventive maintenance, conduct pre-transfer inspections, and collect samples for lab analysis while storing, transferring, and transloading liquid cargos such as sulphur, asphalt, chemicals, and lube oil. Monitor product levels and condition across storage tanks, barges, rail cars, and tank trucks. Perform general housekeeping, facility security, and grounds maintenance including snow plowing. Work outdoors under all weather conditions in a physically demanding environment involving climbing tanks up to 40 feet and lifting equipment weighing 10-50 pounds. Requires a valid driver's license, safety-conscious attitude, and thorough knowledge of hazardous materials handling.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment physical examination
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must be safety-conscious
- Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment
- Must have a thorough knowledge of hazardous/non-hazardous materials handling including health, safety and environmental aspects
- Must have favorable work references
