Terminal Operator

Job Summary
Terminal Operator safely operates all location equipment used to load/unload rail cars, boats, and/or trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests. Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays based on production needs. Responsibilities include communicating with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking firms and suppliers; maintaining grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard; performing loading/unloading tasks for bulk and bagged materials via waterway and road transport; operating and maintaining mobile equipment; adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies; and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- 1-3 years work experience
- Basic knowledge about computers and SAP preferred
- High mechanical aptitude
- Welding experience desirable
- Knowledge of cement, construction industry and integrated computer systems an asset
- Ability to wear PPE and pass fit tests
