Job Summary
Terminal Operator position responsible for hands-on operation of terminal equipment and daily functions under terminal management. Safely operates equipment to load/unload rail cars and trucks, ensures order accuracy and expeditious processing, maintains grounds and records, performs loading/unloading tasks for rail and road, conducts maintenance on mobile equipment, and assists in training new employees. Requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with computers (Microsoft Office, SAP), and prior customer service and equipment operation/maintenance exposure. Knowledge of safety policies and proper PPE usage (respirators and fit testing) is essential; cement terminal experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years
- Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP
- Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance
- Cement Terminal experience preferred
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear PPE including respirators and fit tests
