Job Summary
Oversee terminal operations for railcar repair at Road & Rail Services. Provide complete management oversight for assigned areas, ensure OSHA/EPA/DOT/FRA compliance, and enforce safety policies. Lead and train staff of at least 5, drive site performance toward financial and productivity goals, and apply diesel/heavy equipment mechanical expertise to railcar repair. Responsibilities include implementing work instructions, maintaining quality procedures, and promoting a culture of safety and reliability in an outdoor, on-call environment. Must have railroad/intermodal experience, welding skills, and the ability to manage complex operations with a focus on safety, training, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Supervising at least 5 people
- P&L responsibility
- Diesel or Heavy Equipment Mechanical Experience
- Transportation/Intermodal/Railroad Experience a plus
- Welding experience
- Railcar repair experience
- Must maintain a valid state driver's license if required to operate company equipment
