Job Summary
Terminal Manager leading regional LTL terminal operations across Medford, Klamath Falls, Bend, Eureka, and Corning. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations and staffing, driving safety and service excellence, developing employees, managing budgets and P&L, expanding existing sales territory, and conducting weekly sales recaps. Frequent face-to-face visits with customers, coaching and motivating customer service and operations teams, and promoting service value-added offerings. Requires 3+ years in LTL/transportation operations, strong leadership and communication, proficiency with MS Office and AS/400, contract negotiation, and a proven track record in developing client-focused solutions while maintaining attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in LTL operations environment
- Leadership ability
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and LTL AS/400
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proven ability to develop client-focused solutions and manage multiple account projects
- Ability to negotiate initial contracts and annual renewals to maximize profits
- Clean driving record and evidence of insurability
